We went to Holdsworth House for an afternoon tea get together with parents and children. We sat in the lovely restaurant and had a glass of pink sparkling wine with a raspberry in it. The hotel had lots of beautiful vintage crockery set out on the table and a large platter of sandwiches and cake stand brimming with cakes appeared. The best bits were the mini chocolate fudge cake things that literally melted in my mouth. The staff were really nice and got the children some pop to drink while we had tea and coffee. The atmosphere of this place was idyllic, really nice and warm and pretty. We'll be going back again I'm sure! EH
